H&K Assists in First Privatization of DoD Cleanup
Hill & Kehne helped the U.S. Air Force obtain environmental insurance and broad contractual protections with respect to the 2010 cleanup of 600 acres at the McClellan Air Force Base near Sacramento, CA. This risk transfer is the second for which Hill & Kehne provided assistance (the first was completed in 2007 and was the first “FOSET” applied at a Superfund site).

With an unprecedented dual emphasis (remediation and redevelopment), the Trust is the largest environmental trust in U.S. history.
